Braselton Antiques and Crafts Festival

For the 18th year, visit Braselton for a weekend fall antiques and craft festival. Discover over 300 vendors selling handmade crafts and vintage items including furniture, artwork, jewelry, home decor and more. There will also be a variety of food trucks, snow cones, ice cream and live music throughout the event.

Oktoberfest

After postponing the Oktoberfest 50th anniversary celebration, Helen is back this fall. Visitors can enjoy German beer, kids and bands playing Bavarian music. The Festhalle will be lined with tables and chairs allowing visitors to watch the show, eat or get up and dance the night away.

When: 6 pm-10.30pm, weekdays; 6 p.m. to midnight, Fridays; from 1 p.m. to midnight, Saturdays; 1 pm-7pm, Sunday; Open from Thursday to Sunday on the weekends of September 9, September 16 and September 23, then every day from September 30 to November 7.

Big red apple festival

This festival features arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, cart rides, carriage rides, historical tours, a car show, and shows. There will also be a children’s area and a cornhole tournament.

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 25

Mule camp market

At Gainesville’s Mule Camp Market, which will be held this year on the Midland Greenway, there will be 150 vendors and 20 food and drink trucks. Listen to live music and see demonstrations from local dance companies, karate dojos, and youth music schools. A small carnival with roller coasters and a Ferris wheel will be nearby. During the event, the Town of Gainesville will provide a free streetcar shuttle service to those traveling from downtown, where the event was held in the past, to the new downtown site.

When: from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday October 8, with concert at 6.30 p.m. and fireworks to follow; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, October 9; noon to 5 p.m., Sunday October 10
