The 90th Annual Arts Festival brings art, music and more to Laguna Beach starting next month

This summer, the Festival des Arts is celebrating a major milestone: its 90th anniversary. On Saturday August 13, 1932, the Festival of the Arts opened its doors for the very first time as two dozen artists hung their paintings on fences, trees and buildings along the main street of Laguna in the hope to attract tourists to the first Arts Festival. This summer, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, the world-renowned Festival of Arts Fine Art Show will open its doors to celebrate 90 years of art, welcoming hundreds of patrons to savor at one of the nation’s top art festivals. The Arts Festival is sponsored in part by Volvo, Fidelity Investments, Celebrity Cruises, KOST Radio 103.5 and The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel.

To celebrate its 90th anniversary, the Arts Festival will host 120 award-winning artists from July 5 to September 2. This professionally juried art exhibit features a diverse selection of artwork including paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewelry and more by Orange County artists. Since its opening in 1932, thousands of people have shown and sold their works of art at the Festival and many of them have featured their work in the private collections of major art collectors, celebrities and museums around the world. .
