Paso Robles Education Alliance Hosts Music Festival Fundraiser

The festival will take place on May 7 at Summerwood Winery in Paso Robles

– The Paso Robles Educational Alliance is fundraising for a music festival on May 7 at Summerwood Winery. The event has free admission and will have live music from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., food from the patio kitchen as well as a live and silent auction.

Musicians volunteer their time for the event and include Route 66 (classic rock), Emily Smith (contemporary) and the band Veronica Street (contemporary). Some of the live auction items include seven nights at a beautiful Shaver Lake vacation home, private cooking lessons for four from chef Andre de Paso Terra, a smoker grill from Lowes, a magnum from Saxum James Berry Vineyard 2013 signed by Justin Smith (Owner of Saxum) and many more amazing items.

PREA is raising money for teacher grants in the Paso School District and this month awarded grants to seven teachers, including three who replaced expensive 1990 roll-up world maps (32-year-old world maps) , emphasizing the need for PREA and the help they offer to students, teachers and the community. Bring a low chair or blanket and support PREA and Paso Robles students and educational staff for a day filled with music and fun on Saturday, May 7. The show is sponsored by Bank of the Sierras, Jeffrey’s Wine Country BBQ and Coast Hills Credit Union.
