Music festival honors fallen service members

The Gold Coast’s premier country music festival will be on stage Memorial Day from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, May 30 at the Commemorative Air Force SoCal Wing Air Museum at Camarillo Airport.

The festival will feature over a dozen food trucks as well as live country music. Performers include Richie McDonald, formerly of Lonestar; Heidi Newfield, formerly of Trick Pony; and Coffey Anderson.

The event will begin with a flag ceremony and flyover in honor of fallen service members. It will be hosted by radio celebrity Rick Marino and Assembly candidate Cole Brocato.

“Come enjoy a full day of live music with over a dozen artists, over a dozen food trucks, drinks and fun for the whole family,” Brocato said.

General admission tickets are $45 and parking is $10 if purchased in advance. A carpool pack, which includes admission for five people and parking, costs $215. VIP tickets cost $200.

Tickets are available online at gcfest.com or in person on May 30 at 455 Aviation Drive, Camarillo.
