Homestead plans activities for annual festival |
Homestead Days 2022 are coming soon! We invite you to Homestead National Historical Park from Friday, June 24 through Sunday, June 26 to take part in this weekend full of free events.
This year’s stage presentations will feature music and dance from the diverse cultures affected by the Homestead Act. Each of the three days will have a different lineup of artists:
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Demonstrations of traditional farm-era crafts
10 a.m. ‘V’ the Cowgirl-interactive children’s show
1pm ‘V’ the Cowgirl-interactive children’s show
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Demonstrations of traditional crafts and demonstrations of ancient agriculture on the prairie
Noon Kansas City Irish Dancers, Irish dance company

This series of events will take place outdoors and will follow CDC guidelines and other related guidelines. Each individual performance depends on weather conditions. This event is made possible thanks to the generosity of the Friends of Homestead and the Hevelone Foundation. Admission to Homestead Historical Park and all events is free.
