Fylde Food and Drink Festival returns to Marine Hall to celebrate world cuisine
Chocolates, cakes and coffees, artisanal sauces, spices and preserves, cheese and chutney specialties, pies and puddings, wines, spirits, beers and will be on sale on the site and in the gardens on Sunday August 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Award-winning exhibitors from across Lancashire will showcase their products, with a range of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available.
Free, family-friendly entertainment will take place throughout the day, including live owl displays, character meet and greet, live music, air shows, a public theater and a sports area. .
A Wyre Council spokesperson said: “We have kept the event slightly smaller this year but still perfectly formed, to ensure there is enough room for everyone to experience the event safely. There will be beach safety demonstrations and lectures from our local Coast Guard and Lifeboat teams and a food collection point for Fleetwood Together where we ask people to donate any canned food and in spare or unwanted package. “
Councilor Lynne Bowen, Recreation, Health and Community Engagement Portfolio Holder, said: “It was wonderful to be able to plan this event for 2021 and provide people with an amazing free day this summer. The responses from exhibitors have been amazing and everyone is looking forward to attending this popular event in person this year, following on from the virtual food and drink festival we hosted in 2020.
