Camping music festival Chilled Out ‘n’ Fired Up is set to return to Caltowie • Glam Adelaide

It’s time to get your music festival gear out.

Chilled Out ‘n’ Fired Up takes over rural Caltowie on Saturday, March 26 for an epic day of live music that we know you seriously missed.

Think field camping, local brewers, food trucks and 12 hours of live music from some of Australia’s top artists.

It’s a one-of-a-kind festival that invites you to unwind, relax on the wide open plain and kick off your dance moves (restrictions permitting) that have been on hold for so long.

Headlining the festival are Melbourne alternative rock band Kingswood and high-octane Gold Coast punk band The Delta Riggs. They’ll perform to a rousing crowd of 1,000 good-timers and have fun to the soundtrack.

“We couldn’t be more excited to get out into beautiful regional SA and play this festival with our good friends the mighty Delta Riggs,” Kingswood said in a statement.

“It’s been a long wait, but we’re back bigger and better than ever. We can’t wait to bring our show to town and rock it! »

The lineup also includes South Australian soul blues band Zkye Blue and artist Kelly Brouhaha, as well as alternative rock bands Critical Limit and Feed the Fire.

They will be joined by Half Chewed Pickle from Port Pirie and Adelaide rockers Sycamore as well as Two and a Half Men and Clover.

Weather permitting, bettors will be able to witness two huge bonfires on the day, further heating up the fiery settings.

If you thought the festival couldn’t get any better, the main aim of the event is to raise money for mental health initiatives in the South Australian region while promoting mental health awareness and to well-being.

It’s a wellness day focused on feeling even better.

Festival-goers will be able to camp for free at the event, making traveling to rural SA super easy and convenient without worrying about how to get home.

The inaugural festival kicked off in 2019 with a limited sale. The event has been hugely popular with word of mouth seeing it grow to 900 festival-goers descending on the rural town of Caltowie in 2021.

Each year it has continued to be bigger and better than before, and the 2022 event should be no different.

The event is operating under a COVID safety plan. This means that it is currently limited to a capacity of 1,000 people. However, if the capacity changes, other limited tickets will be made available.

Event organizers said at this point they don’t know if the dance will be possible, but they are hopeful.

Chilled Out ‘n’ Fired Up will take place on Saturday 26 March 2022 at the Memorial Oval, Caltowie SA.
