Brooklyn Mirage and Cityfox announce “Departure”, a new electronic festival in Mexico

One of America’s most famous concert halls just announced its very first Destination Festival. The teams behind The Brooklyn Mirage and The Cityfox experience team up with Pollen present to host a brand new festival called Departure in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

The Brooklyn Mirage is renowned for hosting some of the best outdoor electronic music shows on the East Coast, and Departure promises a new bespoke stage, set against the backdrop of the beautiful Riviera Maya. It will be hosted at a chain of luxury hotels in Playa Del Carmen, where festival-goers will also get exclusive access to hotel takeovers, after parties and even culinary adventures. Spread over five days in January, guests will also have access to daily excursions such as cenote excursions, boat cruises, or Mayan ruins tours.

Departure has already announced the first wave of the stacked lineup, which includes some of the biggest names in house and techno around the world like Soul b2b Dixon, Amelia Lens, Damien Lazare, Jamie jones, and Lee burridge. The diverse programming, the production capacities of the Mirage and the Cityfox and the magnificent location make this festival a must-see.
