Announcing the lineup for the annual Grassroots 30 festival

The 30th Annual Finger Lakes Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg returns with over 80 performers on five stages July 21-24 at the Trumansburg Fairgrounds.

The festival takes place at the Trumansburg Fairgrounds in Trumansburg, located about 10 miles (16 km) north of Ithaca on the west side of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of central New York. Since the birth of the festival, the guiding motto has always been “creating joy in the midst of crisis is a powerful thing and brings magic to the table”.

Grassroots was founded by Donna the Buffalo and is a mission-based organization that focuses on developing local artists and talent while reaching around the world to bring the world’s music and culture to new audiences in order to inspire creativity and foster community development. Four days before the festival there is a culture camp, which helps to strengthen the community by allowing participants to take part in four days of music and dance workshops led by regional and national artists.
