15th Annual Tree Festival Lights Up Fort Myers | News, Sports, Jobs

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida and the Sidney & Bern Davis Art Center (SBDAC) present the 15th Annual Tree Festival, December 2-5. This annual fundraiser has become a vacation tradition in Southwest Florida for thousands of families. The 4-day event marks the start of vacation at SBDAC located at 2301 First Street in the River District of Fort Myers.

Throughout the Festival of Trees event, the public can view the trees, purchase raffle tickets and vote for their favorites. Local businesses decorate the trees with a retail value of decorations and gifts valued at $ 1,500 to $ 2,000. Many in the past have exceeded these minimums!

On the last day of the event, one winning ticket from each raffle box is selected. The trees are then carefully wrapped with all their gifts and goodies and delivered to the winner’s home. It only takes one ticket to win. Raffle tickets at $ 10 / each or three for $ 25 and the proceeds benefit both nonprofits.

In addition to the tree raffle, participants in the Tree Festival can enjoy the “Holiday stroll” on First Street, the official crown lighting by the mayor, a free outdoor concert with Southwest Florida’s biggest and best-known country bands – the Ben Allen Band, Santa’s Party , animations, photos with Santa Claus and a workshop for children.

Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance at https://www.sbdac.com/. For the 2021 Tree Festival at a glance visit fortmyersfestivaloftrees.com.
